What are

A: Direct
Mail is targeted. You can focus on groups of people or individuals who
are more likely to respond to your offers. Direct mail is also more
personal, because you can address the customer by name rather than just
by address. It is also very flexible because there are a large variety
of formats that are inexpensive that you can use to create a direct mail
campaign. Direct mail also allows you to physically place a message in
customer's hands. Direct mail, unlike other mailing services is
traceable. You can measure and track your results simply by counting the
number of coupons are redeemed, or the number of calls you receive from
the mailer. Direct mailing is easy and is affordable.
Q:
What is
mail merge letter?
A: Mail
merge is a software function that creates a large number of documents
from a single template and structured data source. It is used to create
personalized letters and pre-addressed envelopes or mailing labels for a
bulk mailing. The document in this program contains fixed text that
remains the same in each output, and variables, which are replaced by
text from the data source.
