Bulk Mail Partner

We are extremely proud of our Bulk Mail Partner (BMP) Accreditation with Australia Post. Our ability to deliver quality outcomes efficiently is demonstrated in this accreditation. There is no room for error as a Bulk Mail Partner and the Accreditation is highly sought after and is not easily obtained or held.

Though the application for BMP status is open to all Mail Houses, few mail houses have attained certification, the hallmark for best of breed postal management services.

The Bulk Mail Partner (BMP) program is a recognition scheme designed by Australia Post in conjunction with the Major Mail Users of Australia (MMUA).

The BMP program recognises mail houses that have invested in processes to make mail lodgement more efficient and effective.

The initiative encourages mailing houses to produce and lodge high quality mail. It establishes defined processes, quality performance measurements and feedback mechanisms to make the mailing interface more efficient for both mailing houses and Australia Post.

All letters are produced and lodged with Australia Post are according to the following quality controls and guidelines:

  • e-LMS (Electronic Lodgement Mailing Statements) is an electronic gateway, allowing Mail Houses to lodge Mail Statement information via a web-based application, using either direct entry or file transfer from the Mail House production control systems.
  • CBQA (Customer Bar-coding Quality Assurance System) utilises a hand held scanner to check the barcodes on addresses. It allows Mail Houses to verify that the printed barcode meets print specifications and that the DPID contained within the barcode matches the printed address. It is also used to check the DPID assignment accuracy, barcode print specifications and to check that letters within a tray have been sorted to the correct barcode sort plan.
  • PIP (the Process Improvement Program) involves a review by a joint Mail House/ Australia Post team, of the production control process within a Mail House to ensure their quality. Once a Mail House has successfully gone through the PIP process, Australia Post places a higher level of reliance on the information supplied by the Mail House and reduces the level of acceptance checking that is required.

By undergoing the process we have demonstrated our ongoing capability to maintain high standards in the preparation and lodgement of bulk mail to the exceptional level required under the BMP programme.
